About Serenity
Meet Angela
The one therapist you’ll see every visit — and the reason people drive to Liberty for a massage.
Hi, I'm Angela.
I'm Angela Roush, LMT, MMP — the owner, and the only therapist, at Serenity Therapeutic Massage Spa. For 15+ years I've focused on the work most spas hand off or don't offer at all: post-surgical lymphatic drainage, CranioSacral therapy, oncology-supportive massage, prenatal, and real relief for chronic pain.
Most of the people on my table aren't here to be pampered — they're hurting, healing, or carrying more than their body should have to. That's the work I love, and it's what I've spent my career getting good at. Every session is one-on-one, built around what your body needs that day, and never rushed.

Who I work with
My clients are usually dealing with something real — recovery from surgery, arthritis, chronic pain and stiffness, the toll of cancer treatment, or the everyday wear of a hard-working life. I also work with people living with complex conditions like MS and Parkinson’s, focused on comfort and easing what I can. For anything post-surgical or related to cancer care, I work with your physician’s clearance so the session is safe for where your body is right now.
A little about me
Serenity, in a nutshell
I’m a South Carolina girl, born and raised, and I opened my own practice in 2017 after decades of working for others. Bringing it to Liberty, North Carolina has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. Whether you’re managing something serious or just need to put yourself back together, my door is open.
